I have some problem with Greenify.I have installed greenify xposed module but feature "Keep Notifications" doesn't work for me.When i greenify Whatsapp or Messenger, i don't get notifications from these apps,..

I'm experiencing strange problem.
Any.do, wunderlist, mailbox, inbox sometimes delay (mailbox, inbox) or don't show notifications at all (any.do or wunderlist forgot to remind me, if I set remind me on time). For any do and wunderlist notifications work, if I put them to a hour forward, but if I put more, then it doesn't notifies me.
I don't hve have any task killers, greenify, battery life enhancing stuff.
This problem was on PA 4.4b5, and now on lollipop crdroid.
Tried push notifications fixed, it doesn't help.
Any suggestions?

Hi All,

This question is to Android application developers.

We have integrated GCM for push notification in our Android app. However, when a user force closes / kills the app, the user no longer gets notifications unless he / she opens the app again.

However, I have seen many other apps still delivering notifications even when app is killed / force closed.

Can you recommend any other push notification service which works even when app is killed / force closed?

Does anyone know if it's possible to use a non stock app with the gear fit such as Textra sms, Gmail, etc to reply to notifications?

I noticed when you receive an alert it only gives you a reply on the gear fit if it's using a stock app such as messenger for sms.

Love this watch but this one issue is driving me crazy. Very often I'll swipe away notifications from the Gmail app(yahoo mail account, not gmail) and they just come right back, or I'll get them multiple times. I don't have any problems dismissing these notifications on my phone, just on my watch. Anyone else having issues like this? Any ideas?

It's great that I can easily turn off notification of an app really easy, but for those apps that update every single day, which in turn, turns notifications back on.

There has to be an app, or root app, or even an Xposed module that can stop certain apps from pushing Notifications even after an update..?

Hi,

Just got a galaxy tablet but I'm not receiving notifications when I get an email like I do with my Xperia Z3.

When I receive an email I am instantly notified, like you are with an SMS, with my Z3. I am using the Email application that came with the tablet. Any ideas?

Any ROM's have dark notifications yet? topic

I noticed a lot of new ROMs have dark settings ,contacts,phone and even MMS apps built in now.

Do any of them have dark systemui and framework yet?

Just wondering instead of loading up all of them to find out..

Hi there,

recently, I bought Mate7 it's a fantastic device really .. one of the feature I love it is the shade is divided into two sections: Notifications and Shortcuts. If you swipe down from right-hand half of the screen (top right), the Settings shade will open by default, or Notifications shade otherwise (top left).

But this feature doesn't working :(

I don't know why ? it's stopped without any reason I really missed this features :(

Anyone face same issue ? or he can help me for troubleshooting please :) ..

[Q] S Health notifications after BT disconnect/reconnect topic

Hi,

I am becoming somewhat irritated with the notifications on my Gear S, but only for S Health.

I want to receive alerts to my step count and if I have been inactive for too long.
What bugs me are the constant reminders to "tap here to unlock S Health and start using S Health widgets, or to receive S Health data from your Gear".

I receive those up to 50+ times per day! Especially if I walk too far away from my phone and BT disconnects and reconnects when I return.

Any tips on how to change settings either on Gear S or my Note 3?

My gear is systematically training me to ignore all notifications! Any input is greatly appreciated.

When switching to silent mode, media volume doesn't change at all. Sometimes I forget this and get into troubles...

Disable priority notifications in Android 5? topic

Hi,

After getting the latest Android-release on my Nexus 5, my phone has started to switch to "priority notifications only"-mode all the time. I can sit there reading a webpage when it suddenly switches over. This has made me lose both alarms and other notifications that i needed to get. So for me it is 100% useless junk, but i cannot find a way to deactivate it. Any tips?

I noticed that notification sound is much higher in watsapp than viber (viber also set to system notification), i realy some time don't hear viber notifications but wit watsapp is no problem, anyone noticed same problem?

I just updated to 5.0.1 (just received the G Watch yesterday), but I noticed that I don't receive notification when there is a Viber call coming in.
I receive notification on Viber msg, as well Whatsapp and others, but not on Viber call.

Is it a bug?

Snooze Calendar Notifications? topic

After I upgraded from an original Galaxy Gear to a LG G Watch R, I can say that some things on the Gear were just much easier. The biggest thing I miss is the simple ability to snooze a calendar notification. Chatting online with Google, there is just no way to do it. This was easy on the gear, just slide the slider. With Wear, I need to pull my phone out. Kind of defeats the purpose.

Getting double pop-up sms notifications topic

I'm using the newish google messenger as my default. The stock app is of course disabled.

I only get 1 notification for an sms in my top bar (google messenger).

My issue is with the on-screen pop-up notifications. Google messenger is clearly presenting one (pops down from the top and uses the material design capital letter in a colored square if you lack a picture for said person). But something else is making one as well. It's a solid white SMS pop-up with a thin blue line across the bottom edge of it. These two pop-ups end up overlaying each other.

For the life of me I can't figure out what app might be doing this.

about GPS, can't find my location. i tried flashing GPS V5 by Mardon (editing build.prop to enable agps) and tried to edit the gps.conf still doesn't work. I need some help please!!!

Notifications through bluetooth headset topic

When using my bluetooth headset with my HTC One M8 none of the email or sms notifications come through the headset. I was looking for a setting for it and didn't come across anything. Is there a fix for this ? or is it a feature HTC left out ?
