Modify launcher to allow more than 16 apps per folder topic

Hello!
I think the title says it all.
I have the stock cm12 launcher but it only allows 16 apps per folder.
How do I modify the launcher to disable this limit? I like the cm12 launcher and don't want to get rid of it. Help?

[Q] can u have more than 1 rom? topic

I havent rooted a phone before, but it looks like you need a computer to do the work.
Is there away to switch roms without a computer? Im overwhelemed by all the options and my computer time is minimum.

Also i heard the nexus didnt get all the moto feature the moto x has, are those things i can get on roms?

I can't take it anymore... I use the usb port too much so I ripped off the cover... Besides, the rubber ring is already coming off the flap as expected... Magnetic charging sucks and even then i use the usb to transfer... Can't do that with the magnet charging connection...

AT&T Nexus cost more topic

**Warning** Kind of a long read but I'm curious to other peoples thoughts.

Wanted to share my experience today. I went into a Corporate AT&T store planning on upgrading to a 32GB MB Nexus 6 on the Next program. I'm good with it being carrier locked and I'll just remove the AT&T bloatware. I was excited that they had them in stock, however I noticed that the retail price was for 2.99 instead of 9 like Google has it for. I asked the rep and he was surprised and looked it up. I told him that other carriers were selling it for 9 also, and he verified it but couldn't explain it and mentioned that they can't match it either. I asked why do I want to pay like more for it to be carrier locked and have bloatware installed (okay with it but not gonna pay for it).

At home, I called 611 to see if they would match it and see if they knew why. The first rep basically said that was the way it was and didn't really seem interested. The second time I called (I know now maybe I'm crazy but didn't think its right), I asked for their loyalty department cause I know they have more power. The guy there said he was being told that its not ATT but the Manufacture that is dictating the price. I told him that Motorola has it for 9 on their website and it doesn't make sense that they are letting everyone else sell it for one price and making AT&T sell it higher. Told them that I may change carriers if AT&T thinks that its good business practice to charge more then everyone else.

I want to point out that:
1. I was never rude or demanded anything. Just told them that I hope it gets pushed up and corrected.
2. Realize that this is a first world problem and I could just go purchase it from Google or somewhere else but I feel its the principle. Its not right to charge like more and add to the fact that I would have paid higher taxes.
3. They still ended up not matching the price but did offer me a discount off the contract price but told them I didn't want a contract.

Android Bug? More memory used than available. Not enough space error. KitKat. topic

Hello, this is really bugging me, I was hoping to have 8GB memory for apps and 32GB on my SD for obb's and stuff like that but Android 4.4 has the useless virtual SD card feature so the internal storage quickly fills up.
As far as I know, there is no app in the Google Play store that installs itself on the external SD card. But I read that you can copy the maps from TomTom to the external SD card to the Android/data/ folder. So I did that and it worked, freeing up allmost 3gb of internal storage space on my phone (Good news till here). But with the time the internal storage filled up and I reached a moment that I couldn't even update any app because Android was telling me that I don't have enough space. I looked in Settings > Storage and there was still 600MB free internal space, but the Applications bar was overflowing the graph as if there were no more space left.

I guess that this is what is causing the wrong "Not enough space" message. Clearing the cache from Google Services and Google Play Store sometimes helps if there is still more than 600 MB left, but now I'm completely stuck with 480MB and I cannot even update a 6MB app.

Does somebody know how to fix this? Is it me or every new Android version that comes out is just a worse better looking crap..?

1. download the latest ASUS official ROM （下载最新的ASUS 官方ROM）

（最好下载对应地区(SKU)的 ROM 否则可能失败）
if you own a chinese CN version you'd beter download the chinese CN version. I want the WW or US versoin but It may not work on your chinese fonepad.

2. put the file you've downloaded to /sdcard and check the upper-left corner and upgrade. after upgrede do a factory reset.

5. in your phone settings -> about -> software infomation -> build number
tap tap tap tap tap the build number to enable develop mode
In develop options to open usb debug

6. setup your adb and fastboot

and edit /etc/udev/rules.d/51-android.rules
you need to add your device UsbVID in bootloader mode for your fastboot to work.
check http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/UDEV
or use command "lsusb" to check your device's USB VID in !bootloader mode!

如果你和我一样用 MAC 或者 Linux, 使用 上面的帖子里的脚本安装 adb 和 fastboot
然后修改 /etc/udev/rules.d/51-android.rules

或者直接用 命令 lsusb 看

you need to modify the driver add your USB VID in bootloader mode into the driver or you fastboot won't work
your USB VID can be found at device manager the unknow android device the hardware tab.
windows 用户下载上面的链接的 驱动， 但是这个驱动也需要修改 要加入 你的设备在 bootloader 情况下的 USB VID 才能用。
查看设备管理器 那个认不出来的 设备 硬件 ID VID PID 什么的，然后 修改驱动里那个 inf 文件 加入缺少的， 要加载对应的地方 有 x86 the 64 区别.

7. boot your device into bootloader mode
by pressing and holding the power and volume up. let it go when you see the android logo
按住 电源和音量 + 进入 fastboot

8. type (输入命令)
fastboot devices
to check if your system could reach your phone.
if you can't check and google step 6

issue command(输入命令)
fastboot flash update root-uni.zip
to root your device.

9. install the root explorer (file manager)
press mount r/w in the /system
remove Chinese Malware in the /system/app
Anything like baidu qq sogou and so on

随便去那个市场下载 RE 管理器
点 mount r/w 删除 中文 ROM 自带的 百度 QQ 等流氓软件。

10. download google frame work and google play store

choose the [Universal DPI] one
下载 Google APP 精简版 上面链接选择 Universal DPI 版本

11. unzip the gapp zip file and put the system folder into your /sdcard
use re file manager and mount r/w to overwrite the /system
解压后 用 RE 管理器 将 system 的内容 覆盖到 手机的 system 目录

12. reboot
重启

13. tap play store enter your google account and download anything you want
