Slightly urgent - Multiple OTG devices on Lollipop topic

Hi all,

I have a sd card that i want to copy its contents to an external hard drive. I have the following

1. OTG cable


2. USB Mains powered hub - This one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Plugable-Ter...s=usb+main+hub


3. 1 tb external hard drive(NTFS)


4. Micro SD card (Fat32)


5. Micro sd card adaptor

I have connected the external hard drive and the micro sd card adaptor to the usb hub, then connected the usb hub to the OTG cable which is then connected to my phone, however Stickmount is not recognising the external hard drive, nor is Nexus Media Importer. Does anyone know if this is a limitation wihtin Lollipop (5.01) as it use to work in KitKat.

Should i just go back to KK?
I am rooted and on 5.01

if someone has any ideas please post, as i need to get this sorted wihtin the next few days
