Hi everyone, I'm quite new at this and don't want to slip up. Every other solution for this has been sending me in circles and I need some help.
So I've got a Sony Xperia Z2, that's on 23.0.1.A.0.167 (4.4.4) at the moment, it's Australia Optus firmware. I had root on 4.4.2 on a locked bootloader, using the one-click method. I used PC Companion to update and lost root, as I expected. I've really been missing it. How (in very simple terms, I'm not too experienced) do I root this firmware, without unlocking my bootloader and without losing my data any step of the way? Is it possible? Those are the only 2 requirements, anything else is fine.
Thanks in advance, Dean.
