Hey guys,

Really not a discussion post but my 2015 resolution is to share and thank. So this post is a shoutout to everyone in the community that contributed over the time while I have been on here. I've been through some dark moments dealing with these phones. I appreciate you guys doing what you do for the love of the sport. If I didnt have kids I'd probably be more active and I wish I would have shared some more of my experiences with the roms and root methods.

I've been riding with Team Droid since day 1. Literally I remember that October day when the UPS man pulled up with G1 on launch day. I just sold my iPhone and excited to holding a key to a new world. Fast forward to the MoPho to the Note 1 to the Executive Edition GS3 with the wood box and now my G2, not mention some lesser phones in between.

No matter the device, the community always had answers for any problem and even give you ways to enhance your experience and it never cost anything but time and some frustration (lol)

So this post is a thank you to all of you and encouragement to keep up the good work.

[Q] Bootloop? topic

I installed the 5.0.2 ROM and wnated to go back to my old rom, but it's not working very well, the phone starts up and then shows the google logo (from the 5.0.2 rom) and the restarts, i've tried to go back to the 5.0.2 with no success. I've even managed to flash a new boot.img file on the phone but it still dosn't work, any help would be gratly apreciated!

Reason Why Mate7 Shows 4g sign Instead of LTE topic

Hello guys..
I have seen some users saying that they don't get Lte symbol and that the mobile is showing 4g symbol instead.
Today I found the reason of this. While I was looking at Theme downloaded from theme app, I noticed that they have put 4g icon even for LTE. This is the reason why we see 4g symbol even when we know that we are connected to LTE.
I hope this will end some users confusion. :)

hi guys, i dont think ive ever used HDR mode since having the S2, or previous smartphones and the basic camera (stock 4.1.2) doesnt have that mode..i think i might be missing out on alot better snaps

theres a 50% on the HDR camera app at the moment with decent reviews..should i just get this

I've read and seen about it for a while flying through these forums. What's the big deal with MHZ and changing the band to a better one. My question is as follows...

Need advice topic

I have bricked my fire tv that has rbox's custom mod installed ( I wiped my sd partition and restarted the device before replacing the restore.img) so totally my own stupid fault... but I have a guy on this forum that's kindly trying to assist me in restoring it as he has the ability to get access to the emmc chip. He has a complete back up of his flash but what he is needing to know though is : where/how the FireTV is storing unique stuff like serial number/Device ID and whatnot. MAC addresses of Wifi and LAN would come to mind too. But he's pretty sure this contains IDs that are unique.
Would the following be possible : If we would know in what part this information is stored. He could try to make a backup of this from my device once it shows up as eMMC, and then later restore it

Any advice really appreciated as just want to return my fire tv to a working state.

[Q] Lost fastboot access topic

Last night I unlocked the bootloader of my lte tablet running 2.1. Since unlocking it I lost fastboot access in bootloader. I tried everything I can think of, reinstalling naked fastboot drivers in both android and bootloader after purging anything resembling old drivers and alternatively tried getting fastboot access on a macbook and Linux laptop. In all cases my shield is recognised by adb while in android, but not after the reboot bootloader command. It seems so unlikely I broke fastboot access after a successful unlock, I hope someone can offer some ideas of what could be going on.

[Q] Restoring to Stock topic

Hey guys,

I'm running the GPE ROM on my One M8 (was a stock unlocked model with Sense 6), and I'm wanting to restore the phone completely to the stock HTC Sense ROM, stock recovery etc, yet I can find pretty much NOTHING about restoring the stock ROM to an unlocked handset, hoping someone can help me out with this.

Reduce Camera Auto Focus Time topic

Hi. I really like this phone and it almost went back due to the camera being too slow. I started to look for an alternative app and I have found one called Open Camera. Its open sourced and very good at allowing users to have more manual controls. Using different focus options I have reduced the time it takes the camera to focus and I can now capture pics almost instantly. So far I'm pleased and wanted to share with you all.

[Q] LTE compatibility topic

I have an old HTC one(M7) and after a lot of checking I was able to find my model number which is PN0711000. I would like to know if this is LTE compatible or not. Please tell me that I didn't just waste my time in getting an LTE sim...:'(

I have searched, but have not found the answer.

I have Multiwatch and Watch Styler, I have no problem getting the faces to load. But most of them do not have all the functions working like the small timers in say Citizen style. Do I need to root the Gear Neo 2 or are these just gimmicks?

I can confirm Nova Prime and HD Widgets work on my rooted AFTV with Rbox's mods. Was using Fired TV until I read the posts about HD Widgets. No comparison. Now have an App Drawer, a Dock if I want it, and the ability to Drag icons around to reorder. Can't change wallpaper. Icons are resizable, can be dragged mid-grid and number Rows and Columns is adjustable. Icons and Labels can be edited. Haven't got around to trying Gestures and other features like Folders.

I installed Nova through Google Play. Don't know if can be installed from the Amazon Appstore.
