So, I Recently Accidentally Updated Google Play Service (Not Using Play Store) And After
That I Started Experiencing Problems With My Phone. My Google Play Store Wasnt Working And I Couldn't Log In To Google+ In Games And There Was A Notification Saying
"Unknown Issues With Google Play Services" I Tried Downgrading The Google Play Services And It Did Not Work. I Tried Updating It Again, Some Things Seem To Be Working But The Play Store Is Still Not Working And I Cant Sign In To Games.If Someone Sees This Please Help If U Can :)

[Q] Google Play only showing free apps topic

So here is the scenario.... I set up my new Ouya not realizing it updated. Obviously Root my Ouya app no longer works, so I gotta hold of "towelroot v1" which rooted my device. I than added "SuperUser", "Xposed (v2.5.1)" and Mod Collection for Ouya(v5.1)". The "Mod Collection For Ouya [5.1]" is checked in Xposed and "Google Play Store Mod" is "on" under "Mod Collection For Ouya". The Ouya has been rebooted... I'm at a loss for how to get Google Play to show more than free apps!

Thanks in advance to anything I may have missed, I'm new to Ouya modding and have only had the Ouya for a couple days.

Ps. I've scoured the internet and these forums for a resolution if I have missed another thread I'm sorry!

[Q] AOSP Bug with Google Play Movies and TV App topic

I came across this running a few Lollipop AOSP ROMS (Scrosler, Screw'd, SimpleAOSP). It seems that the issue is on any AOSP Lollipop ROM, Google Play Movies and TV app cannot play videos. The videos will list in the app, but if you try to play them, you will get a message about an unsupported device. The app works on the Google Factory Lollipop image, and seems to be specific to AOSP. One of the developers has also experienced this. Just wanted to confirm with some others, and find out if there is a way to submit this as a bug?

[Q] Google Play always crashing topic

my phone is rooted and my bootloader is unlocked.

Everytime i download a game or an app thats big, it force closes. for example i downloaded 'The Wolf Among Us' i clicked the download button and my Play Store just crashed.

I did the following
1)Deleted data and cache and reboot - not working
2)i went to CWM and clear Cache and Dalvik Cache

I've released a game at deс 22th in "adventure" category. It was reviewed by youtube blogger and it got a boost of installs. Now it is around 1200 (4.5 stars based on 173 ratings) Since a week I can't find my game in "top new free adventures" for my country (all installs are from there). But same time I see there games with 0-10 installs! And the top in not full, it contains only 450/500 games.

Few days ago google manually changed content rating to "Medium Maturity" for this game. Could it cause disable participating the goole tops for my game? Or maybe there are new rules for rating new games?

[Q] Google Play localisation topic

A week ago I saw that Google is giving free copies of few movies in USA, UK or Australia.
I thought about trying to get them even if I live somwhere else (Poland to be exact), but forgot about it.

Today i saw that they give Frozen OST for free, but only in USA, so I thought maybe Ill look for a way to get it, so later if again something will be free for specific country i could get it.

I used CyberGhost to change my localisation to USA and I found out that Frozen is free and ready to be downloaded. However after clicking "free" payment window shows only for second or less and disappear with information "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later.".

Any idea? Maybe other app to change VPN or manual way to become real citizen of the world?

Broken Google Hangouts Dialer topic

During some upgrades to Lollipop (5.0.1) and the newest Hangouts (2.5.816xxxx) and Hangouts Dialer (0.1.816xxxx), something got broken and I was stuck in this endless loop of error messages with the Hangouts Dialer.
"Phone calling is not supported for this account with this version of Hangouts."

Annoying! I had some issues with a Google Voice number, my cell number, and all the "seamless" integration Hangouts offers across all my devices.

To fix it
go to hangouts
hit the three lines in the top left
select settings
choose your gmail account
go down to Account under "Phone number confirmed"
reconfirm your number(s)

and that sorted out my Google Hangouts Calling feature.

RCA 7" 8gb tablet can not open new Google account topic

My sister received a RCA 7" 8gb tablet for Christmas. Yesterday I was trying to set it up for her when I got to accounts section and tried to open a new Google account for her but, every user name (25+) I tried use was not available. I tried using different variation of the same username and different usernames plus there variations and none work. Anyone have this problem before and fixed? If so how did you do it?

small Google Bug I noticed topic

Ok people tested this with another person and he confirmed also.

1)Make sure advance calling is off
2) Activate developer options if u havent already done so.
3) find windows transitions and change to off for all three
4) clear all left open windows using the far bottom right button
5) Go to dailer and see the keypad gone.

Any ideas why this would be? and for me the only way to get back is changing the transistion back to .5 for all three and clearing all the windows again. Its odd. i didn't try with advance calling because advance calling is still alpha stage in my opinion.

[APP][4.0+] Viewpoints - Save your GPS Favorites in Google My Maps topic

Locate points of interest and save them under Google "My Maps". You’ll never lose the saved viewpoints. When you need to use them, download the viewpoints to your GPS app.

When you go to travel, you want to search some place to go, you would search viewpoints on internet.
In the past time, after you find some points, you need to find again in GPS app. If not found, you need to find the address and key address to find.
Now you don't need to do that again, after find the points, you just need to locate the points in Google "My Maps" and download to your GPS app.

4. Clicking Name in Map List opens Map Detail and show buttons: Close/Copy To/Download/Delete.
5. It is recommended to maintain Maps and Map Points on My Maps on desktop, not on phone.

Remarks
1. My Maps is a Google Service at: https://www.google.com/maps/d/.
2. My Maps can also be found in search for My Maps at Google.com.
3. New Map creation speed may be limited by My Maps, it is limited by Google.
4. Beginning with Android 4.4.2, Apps will not have permission to read SD card data. For best results, store map data on internal memory; not on SD card.

Is it just me or has there been no apps added to the Google Play Store? topic

I bought the Nexus Player because I thought it would be a device that anyone could publish apps for but I haven't seen a single new app added to the TV app store since release. Google has a bunch of documentation on how design TV apps but nobody can publish apps that show up in the TV app store? Is this for real or am I having some sort of issue?

It works with Nexus 5 screen off IF it is electrically powered (wired or with QI induction charger)

Google chose this, officially:

- Because there are no specialized circuits (= low power consumption, etc.) to process this into the Nexus 5
- To avoid a loss of autonomy

(& Unofficially? Make the Nexus 5 obsolete?)

When I know that I will join my home QI charger or my car charger on time, autonomy... ...

Probably there is ONE (...) variable to change in order to allow the operation of the "OK Google" command with Nexus 5 non electrically powered.
Is anyone able to find it?

There is a similar application on the Play Store that works screen off but it works poorly ...

Elle fonctionne écran éteint sur Nexus 5 SI celui-ci est alimenté électriquement (par câble ou sur chargeur à induction QI)

Google a choisi ceci, officiellement :

Google play movies problem topic

So I buy all my movies from the play store. Since buying the n4 yesterday, I haven't been able to play any of them at all. Not on stock, or any of the stock based roms. Tried root cloak and the issue is still there. The only thing I have not tried is an aosp rom which I will be trying tonight. Here is a screenshot of the error I get. Any help is appreciated.
