[Q] Question about File Associations and Auto opening downloads topic

Hi everyone,

Had a question regarding associating apps with file types on Lollipop. Im trying to set up downloaded files to load automatically upon completion. (Particularly .torrent files using tTorrent and .ica files using Citrix Reciever). The Citrix files are already associated with the receiver app, so when they finish downloading I can run them by tapping the notification. The torrent files hoewver, attempt to open in a completely unrelated app, and when I go into settings->apps to try to clear the default associations for the unrelated app, the button is greyed out as if no association is there. Any ideas on how to fix that, and / or open the downloads automatically when finished so I don't need to tap the notification?
