[Q] HD+ performance for Madden NFL Mobile topic

I recently tried installing Madden NFL Mobile on my HD+ and the game is running in slow motion. I understand that the HD+ is not the most powerful of tablets (especially considering the display) and that this could just be a hardware limitation. I've tried on both CM 10.2 and CM 11 with the same results.

Cool Tool is showing a lower CPU frequency and ~40% cpu usage, so it seems at the very least the CPU isn't the limiting factor. I couldn't find any GPU information (and I'll admit I'm rather ignorant on the GPU front for tablets in general).

Is there anything I could try to improve performance?
