Gear Manager for 4.1.2? topic

Hi, I bought a Gear 2 Neo from Walmart, but I have a Samsung Galaxy Victory running 4.1.2. Currently that is the latest android version for the phone. I can only install Gear Manager 1.2.x on the phone, but that does not support Gear 2. I can install some extracted files from Gear Manager 2.x, but I cannot install the Gear 2 support apk; it gives me parsing package error. I have tried everything from the galaxygear1_2.apk to installing a custom TizenMod Rom onto the watch. I would really love to use the watch and not have to wait until I upgrade my phone in August 2015. Thx

APK Manager / Deodex / Odex Manager topic

So, I have put together an actual Windows program for a lot of Rom Builders. I used to build a lot of Roms, but really don't do much of it any longer. What I know though, is the tool I built is extremely easy to use and very effective. I thought some of you would very much enjoy this tool. It will also allow a lot more people to start theming and tinkering :) It has built in Draw9 support and will automatically detect what versions of Java you have and allow you to select which one you would like to use.

So I am going to post it here for now in the Note 4 forum for a few of you to install it and check it out. It will support many phones, if not all. All you have to do is make sure you have some type of Java program installed on your PC. The rest is all self-contained and updated.

The first thing you are going to need to do after install is to go into setup and setup the paths accordingly, to your liking. Once this program is setup it runs great. I have built it with threading, so it won't lag as you are working along.

I will post some screen shots for you all to check out.. I would use these as examples of what your environment should look like. Also, make sure you pull the system, from the adb options tab, from your phone as the first step before doing anything else, it will use the framework files as needed to work. This path is also where your deodex setup paths of originals should point to, the pulled files for app and framework.

Google Device manager and apps from web no longer work. topic

I have a rooted galaxy s3 on straight talk pre paid. Wanted to try slim kat so I flashed it with cwmt. Delvik, fact reset , cache and /system. Didn't like the random reboots so flashed back to stock backup. When I install something from google play it won't download to phone. From within phone it works. Device manager can't locate device. Tried cleaning data on play store app. Play services looks like it's stuck in app manager, and can't delete data. Any suggestions?

Hey Guys,

Though this may be my first post, i will was i am no pro nor noob. With that out of the way, I've been on android since gb stock and custom (usually custom 2-3hr after i get a new phone XD ). Android has improved leaps and bounds. However, simple things are either complex ( such as managing nandroids or even obtaining for some users), convoluted ( media management, migration to a new rom while retaining data etc.), or costly( the new airdroid, helium backup etc..). I feel that a lot of the paid services while awesome, simply cost too much.

So that said would anyone be interested in:

• A cross platform Android manager


• A set of core android utilities (on your phone)

Incorporating premium functionality and a nice gui (probably material based).
If so what functionality would you like ?
Some links to some existing works ?
some cool ideas ? ~~

**NOTE **
i do know there are quite a few initiative towards this goal.
The idea is to have a unified toolset to form an unofficial official Environment & utilities.

I want all feedback good or bad to keep this a realistic as possible.

And yes i can program quite well, as can my colleagues.
IF this comes into fruition it will be a community project and the idea is to have a very very low cost product with all the features you need/want.

as per title. GG1 (rooted, Null_) and S4 (custom rom 4.4.2)

no matter what version of Gear manager I use I can't get watch styler or wearable widgets to show in my gear manager on the phone.

is there some kind of fix?

Gear Fit Manager Patched for Lollipop topic

Hi there guys,

Since Samsung are just idiot and his app isn't working with Android Lollipop i had to modify 'Gear Fit Manager' to get it working on my Motorola Moto X with Lollipop, so download and use it with your Android Lollipop without weird crashes!.
