Ultra GPE no longer getting 5.0 OTA update notice? topic

Hi, my Ultra GPE did receive the notice for the 5.0 OTA update originally, I chose to wait a bit before installing. However now the notice is gone (has been gone since around the 16th) and going through system update my 4.4.4 is considered the most recent version. I tried clearing cache but that did not bring the notice back. Has this happened to any one else?

I have the TriForce ROM and I'm not sure if it's due to that, but I don't have any "press and hold" keys, and it doesn't save any of my personal dictionary words etc.

[Q] Double tape to wake no longer working topic

Hello everyone,

I recently updated to .167. I am rooted with an unlocked bootloader. Since updating double tap to wake no longer works. I have toggled the setting and rebooted but nothing seems to work. I thought maybe it was a kernel issue so I also tried flashing an alternate kernel to no avail. Does anyone have any advice?

Google Device manager and apps from web no longer work. topic

I have a rooted galaxy s3 on straight talk pre paid. Wanted to try slim kat so I flashed it with cwmt. Delvik, fact reset , cache and /system. Didn't like the random reboots so flashed back to stock backup. When I install something from google play it won't download to phone. From within phone it works. Device manager can't locate device. Tried cleaning data on play store app. Play services looks like it's stuck in app manager, and can't delete data. Any suggestions?

Nexus 5 on Sprint is no longer sending or receiving SMS topic

My phone has suddenly decided to no longer send or receive sms at all on Sprint. I've been running Sabermodded SlimKat for months with no issues whatsoever and just the other day SMS suddenly stopped. It says the text sends in any messaging app I use but it never actually seems to send. If I try to text myself to test it also I get no messages back when though it says they all send. The weird thing is MMS is working fine, I can send myself pictures and any one of my contacts, but I do not see their SMS messages or my own, none are getting through. I tried wiping and flashing over to 5.0 (Cataclysm) instead and I still cannot send sms. I've tried updating my PRL and Profile many times, Reflashing a flashable Sprint APN zip, manually setting APN in hangouts, messenger, textra, qksms etc. I've tried flashing different radios on 4.4.4 (before I flashed 5.0 now I just have the final L preview radio) and I have even tried removing the sim card and rebooting before placing it back in. Has anyone encountered this issue before? I am at a loss.

[Q] Dictionary no longer suggesting previously used words topic

I have a problem where my dictionary is no longer suggesting words that I've used previously (like the names of my sons). It's almost like it's stopped adding them. I can't find the custom dictionary file anywhere to check what it contains.

Anyone got any suggestions as to why this is happening and what I can do to fix it? I'm using the stock ROM with the default Samsung keyboard.
