[Q] help bricked verizon lg vs980 topic

Please help I let a friend borrow my phone and he brought it back to me dead I plugged it in and it only boots to the fastboot screen and my comp wont detect it either. I am in no way tech savy at all I tried reading post about it and got no where please help!!!!*
