[Q] No s-off Return to stock? topic

Forgive me if this question is answered elsewhere and point me to it if so.

I had converted to the gpe with skydragon rom awhile back. Dev unlock, root, s-off and everything was working great. Recently I flash the new skydragon gpe rom for 5.0.1 and for some reason now s-off is s-on and adb gives me device off line error.

I want to get back to stock because some things with the skydragon rom are not working for me. Particularly wi-fi.

I haven't been able to use any of the return to stock methods I have seen because s is on and its required to be off... Is there any method for achieving a restore while s is on? As an added bonus my original backup seems to be missing as well so when I go into recovery with twrp there is nothing there to use as a restore point..

My phone is working for the most part as is but no wi-fi and the camera app crashes every time. Any help is greatly appreciated thanks!

Should I Return My Fire Phone? topic

I just bought an unlocked Moto G lte to do all the things I can't do with the Fire Phone. My question is does anyone think there will be an exploit to unlock the bootloader on the fire phone in the next few months? I have another week to return it, but I'm willing to keep it as a backup if there is a chance it might get unlocked/rooted. It's a nice piece of hardware with a mediocre os. The side-loading of the google framework and changing the launcher helps, but I still can't dig into it the way I want to.

[Q] Should I return my N6? topic

I got my nexus 6 from CPW on monday, ever since ive been reading every single post on xda about battery, ive flashed and used 4 different roms, different kernals, all the usual apps like greenify. But no matter what i do i cant get more than 3-4 hours of screen time. Ive heard lots of people are getting over 6, while im still in my return stage should i just return and exchange for a new one when they get stock on 19th decemeber? I love this device but want that 6+ hours of screen time lol

return app to foreground after calling topic

Hi,
I am writing an android conference call client. After calling I want to display a special screen in which the user can see who is currently talking (this is supported by my server), instead of the regular android in-call screen.
Is there any way I can make my app come back to the foreground after calling?

Thanks.
