Buying a new Charger topic

Hi,
I bought my Omate in real life to someone who just got it from a gift. And I semi-broke the charger, I'm forced to use elastics for the time being to charge my Omate, because it isn't fitting anymore.

Do I have any solution in having a new charger for my Omate?

I bought a charger for the Simvalley AW414, unfortunately, the case isn't the same and my Truesmart doesn't match. How can I do?

RAVPower® 50W/10A 6-Port iSmart USB Desktop Charger Review topic

First Impressions:
the packaging looks very professional. The box comes with a sleeve over the box. Once you take off the sleeve, you open the box and the product is inside.

In the box:
Along with the product and cable, you get a thank you card(which is very thoughtful of them), warranty card, and a booklet that tells you about the USB wall charger.

Review:
This product is really cool. It's great for a person who has more than one device to charge at once, but only one outlet to use. The quality of this product is impeccable. This product will last forever. For the price, it's a product that everyone should own. It came in very handy when my family stayed in a hotel because we weren't struggling to find outlets to charge our devices. The stays relatively cool. I had five devices charging at once and the device emits a little heat, but it doesn't feel like it's going to catch fire. Most of the reviews say that the light is super bright. I don't know if RavPower redesigned the light or not, but the light isn't bright at all to me. It's barely noticeable in the dark. Also, the product does make a little chime noise when you plug in a USB charger, which is pretty nice. The product does charge faster than my Motorola and Apple chargers, but I wish it charged a little faster because it's not a really huge difference that's worth mentioning, but other than that, I would recommend this product to anyone who is interested in buying it.

Hello guys...
Bought this new moto g2 2 days back 16gb dual sim..
Battery backup is okay... But battery charging takes alot of time.
It takes 1 hour to charge 20-25% i.e 3-3.5 hours for full battery.
Any other chargers to charge it fast?
And please can anyone suggest a good power bank for my moto g2
As i cant sit and use my phone while it gets charged for 4 hours.
Thanks..

My new stand + Wireless Charger topic

Hey guys... so took some inspiration from someone else on this one... I cant remember who it was or where i saw it...

Anyways, the story behind it is that i was having issues with placement of my phone with the case i use and the google official charger... It took me a good 2-5 mins of moving it millimeter by millimeter to get it to connect and stay charging... then I saw someone post something about putting the charger behind a picture frame... placing the charger behind the frame in a way so that as soon as you place the phone in the frame it would connect...

well spent time time tonight, about a hour from start to finish... most of that time was finding the perfect sweet spot for the phone to connect to the charger...

I took the frame took the back piece off, used the glass, and put a black piece of paper there so it was see through...

just hot glued everything together as it was the easiest to until if i need to in the future... then for the stand part, i just ripped that off, did some bending and hot glued that to the back when i got the angle i wanted... from the front it looks great, back, its a bit messy, but no one will see that
well here are the results of that:

[MOD] Official Nexus Charger N6 Improvement (N5 v2013) topic

Firstly Thanks to ARNO59 for his original teardown - http://forum.xda-developers.com/goog...eless-t2628022

Due to the curved back of the Nexus 6 the coil sits further behind the rear case than the nexus 5 :

N6 COIL

The Charger has a 2/3mm Glass front that sit between your phone and the coil inside :

Glass Cover

So by removing the glass and the magnets were reducing the distance the Inductive charging has to go to get to the coil in the hand set and also the profile of the charger base helps the nexus 6 sit in place better.

Tools Needed :

Torx 5 (T5) Screwdriver / Bit
Flick Knife - Long blade ( You can use a Stanley knife however i'd advise against it as there are some wire than could get cut by a very sharp blade ! )

A Official Google nexus QI charger ( Not the Orb ! )

A sticker larger than the top of the qi charger

Okay lets do this !

1. Remove the Sticky foot of the Charger with your knife, its a plastic pad with the sticky rubber adhered to it, so getting under the plastic pad will remove the thing as one piece

2. Using a T5 driver remove the 4 screws and put them aside in a safe place, i use some electrical tape to stick them to.

3. Pry the plastic base away from the unit
Apart

4. Be careful as there are two exposed copper wires connected to the main board !
Wires

5. Carefully pry the glass from the top of the device, go slow and easy don't chip or scratch that glass, a blunt tool is better in this situation !
prying

6. Once the glass is removed remove the Magnets with your knife they are only attached with a little glue.
magnets

7. Take these out, and put them in a place for safe keeping, now re-assemble the whole thing Minus the Glass and those magnets and apply a sticker where the glass once sat to top the metal scratching your new device.

NewTrent 4.1amp charger (20w) dual usb topic

I was already having an awesome time charging my phones and tablets with my 2.1 amp charger. After receiving a beta device to test out, I went ahead and test it for a whole week charging my iPhone during my car drive. I can tell you this device is well worth the price. Fast charging and easily storable. A blue light comes on on the usb slot rim showing you it's ready to charge. High quality plastic surrounds the body making it look very elegant. For further review go ahead and check out my video review.
