[Q] finally got my note 4, a few questions topic

hey guys,
before 2 days i finally got my note 4 after a long time with iphones,a few words wow! what a great phone! i dont know what i did with iphone so many years. everything is open and so simple and i really glad i chose to go with the note 4.
now i have some questions (The most important question is the battery life) and much more questions and i will glad if you can help me with all of the questions.

ok lets start,

1. the most important questions is my first question and is about the battery life, When I received the note 4 I waited for fully discharged for the first use until the device turns off, and then I charged it again (with fast charging without turn of the device) and i fell asleep and then in the morning was 100% so i turn the device (yes I know not to leave it charging all night even after the device is already 100% but its happend ;)) well I noticed that the battery runs out really fast, and my use was quite low and I do not know how! For example, after a 3 hours of use the battery goes from 100% to 60% and after more two hours its was 35%. excpet this i saw when i got 5-6% i was playing a bit with the settings and after 2-3 min the device turns off. how 5-6% in 2-3 min and even less?

this is the things i did to save my battery life already:

sound settings: turns off - vibrate while ringing, dailing keypad tone, touch sound, screen lock sound, sounds when tapped, vibrate when tapped and all the rest.
brightness: almost the lowest and even now i tried auto - btw what is the best to do - auto brightness or to set it your own on low brightness?
bluetooth - off
closing applications with the "recent app button" - V
GPS - off
Disable Pen Detection - off
and more settings that i dont remmber.

so what should i do to to extend my battery life? because my battery life very poor.

Sub Questions about the battery:

a. which way is the best to charge the note? wait until the device turns off and then to charge it to 100%? or what?
b. fast charing option is good? right now i turns the option off and my device charging while he off. what do you recommend to turn off the feature or on?

2. i heard when i force stop applications in "applications manager" is good is that true?

the settings are good? do i have to force stop applications? i will glad to hear a short explanation about this.

3. about the RAM usage, applications thats running or i dont know how to call it, look at the picture i uploaded:



1.6 GB in use and sometimes its even 2GB in use, i really dont know how! i didnt use so many applications.
it is ok to close apps from here or to let the system to handle it? i really glad to short explantion about it also.

4. the google syncs its like iCloud in apple? i saw in settings alot of marks like: calander, contacts, and many more can sync to google+, what thats means? its will upload to google sync cloud? or its just a backup to the contacts? i really dont understand this.

5. i used wazzapmigrator app to my note from iphone to transfer all my whatsapp history chat, is it safe? everything works good i just ask it to be sure. by the way i use the "LITE" version of free download and now each message have - LITE, if i buy the full version its will remove it?
and a sub question, i used smart switch to transfer my notes, calander, contacts is ok?

Samsung finally gets it right in regards to wifi radio! topic

I have to say the wifi on this edge is beast compared to my older Galaxy's dating back to the S1. My Edge picks up more connections further away and my home dbm is greater on my Edge than my Note 2 while both are side by side. The wifi radio was always one of my biggest complains with Samsung phones as anything htc or apple always had greater reception. I'm just wondering if Samsung finally got it right and improved it or maybe they placed it on a different location or something. I know i never had great signal like this on a Galaxy ever.. Note 2 picks up 9-10 networks while my Edge is seeing 16-17 networks 😎

Finally Pulled The Trigger! topic

So after months of waiting, when it was released on Monday I couldn't help but feel hesitant about picking one up, lol I'm not sure if it was justifying the money for a piece of plastic or the idea of it coming out was more exciting than actually buying it, for me the main seller is the cinema, I'm a huge movie buff and watch movies a lot before bed on my Note 10.1 2014 or Note 4 (If too lazy to grab my tablet) so this is right up my ally, i hope. The other sell is the Harmonix music player, I'm hoping its included because I haven't heard anyone talk about it since launch, I'm hoping they just forgot and it doesn't mean that it sucks or isn't included, being able to lay back on the couch and basically meditate and vibe out with immersive visuals to my favorite music sounds pretty awesome. Lets hope. Honestly those reasons and the fact I specifically opted for the Note 4 over the Note Edge in anticipation for the VR kind of pushed the sale, Otherwise getting the Note 4 would have been in vain lol.

Honestly I'm pretty excited to get it now that its ordered, needless to say I sprang for the Next Day shipping from Samsung because of my hesitation to grab one early in the week, and I wanted to get it to play with over the weekend, so It SHOULD be sitting on my doorstep ready to rock when I get home from work tomorrow.

Questions to the people who already have one in their hands:

Any tips or tricks I should know before getting this tomorrow?

Any cool features I need to know about?

Is the included content easy to run through within a day and does any of it have playback value? (I.E. The ocean, concerts, Iceland etc.)

Loading your own Movies from SD, simple?

Overheating?

Battery Life?

Worth the money?

Gaming?

Current Content & Does it seem like future content will be coming pretty regular?

Is there a content store or just what's on the Included SD card?

Etc.


Any and all thoughts appreciated, I've been reading the threads people have posted who have already picked one up and it's helped me find some validation in grabbing one.

Thanks Guys, Pretty jazzed up due to the wait and the reviews I've been reading and watching, but nervous I just dipped into the savings (especially during the already expensive Christmas time) to buy a tchotchke lol I mean I'm no stranger to Early adopting, especially with Samsung but you never know what you are in for!
