I have noticed cyanogen roms on oneplus have this feature built in so thats its easier seeing the screen in bright sunlight. Seems to work well. Anyway of getting this to work on the Nexus 6. The stock display in sunlight is pretty poor.

htc one not charging (No usb host mode) topic

So today i unplug my phone from my charger, then i wanted to transfer files via USB OTG. So i immediately plug in my usb otg and my pendrive(cuz pc cant detect my phone due to usb problem), sadly it wont work (got usb host mode). then i download latest elementalx kernel (18.0) and flashed it. after that, i immediately go charge my phone, nothing happened. no usb host mode bug, no landscape mode.
then, i entered fastboot while charging my phone, it only display fastboot instead of fastboot usb and its not charging. Tried reinstall rom (ARHD81.0) three time, one of them it will charge after boot, but NOT anymore after i entered fastboot. Tried wipe system and cache, still not charging. Only will charge when powered off and in recovery mode. Help! Some of my friend told me that my battery is dying, isit true?

Does the galaxy note 4 simply not contain the required Broadcom chipset or is there another method to get to monitor mode, assuming it is, at all, possible?

So i kept trying to fix private mode to use. I tried Xsecurestorage module in xposed but wouldn't work with me. I also tried TEKHD's method of the zip but didn't work either. Followers the support link for Xsecurestorage mod and found a method being used on a 910f.

Went to data/system/secure_storage and deleted the folder with personalpage in the name.
Next went to data/system/users and deleted privatemode_edk_1000.

Rebooted my phone and viola it was working.

[Q] I'm stuck in download mode topic

So, I got a galaxy tab s 10.5 today for Christmas. In my excitement to root it I think I may have screwed up, given that this is my first Samsung device (I've rooted and done a bunch with a Nook HD+, but this seems to be a bit of a different beast). Basically, I was following the steps outlined here http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...nfire-t2881826 and now I think I've got my tablet stuck in download mode and have no idea how to get it out. I'm stuck on a screen that says "no command" and "now send the package you want to apply to the device with 'adb sideload <filename>."

I don't think Odin did anything as when I ran it the tablet and the computer didn't do anything, the log it displayed was short, and it ended with "(succeeded 0/failed 0)." Again, I'm a total noob at this, but I didn't actually do anything to the tab outside of getting it into download mode, correct? I did NOT remove the usb cable from it until it was clear (I'd say 10 minutes or so) that Odin wasn't doing anything to it.

I've tried holding the power button down by itself as well as holding down the combination to get into download mode and I'm not getting any response. Is there any way I can get out of it or will letting the battery completely drain solve the issue?

Where can I find help to this boot loop? Has anyone seen one like this before?
Phone had been previously rooted using purple drake, I then updated to 5.0 and after a few days got stuck into a normal boot loop "LG logo->Restart->LG Logo->Restart".

I then tried to re-flash a stock rom to fix the loop and got this loop when I replugged the USB cable during the installation process.

Device is even failed to enter CWM. There also it went to loop.

I have an international S3, it was running on SlimRom, was working just fine, 2 days ago it was rebooted itself (it was lying on the table), and stuck at samsung logo. I cannot enter into recovery. Only download mode is available. I've tried to flash stock firmware and recovery via Odin, both ended with NAND writing fail..

Does anyone has any idea how to fix this?

(STUCK) Kindle goes into "fastboot mode" screen even when entering recovery topic

Yesterday was my first time rooting a Kindle Fire, and the root process went very smoothly when I followed this guide which uses saferoot: http://forum.xda-developers.com/kind...6-3-3-t2814955

After successfully rooting it, I wanted to try the OtterX ROM/TWRP/Bootloader, since I read the comments and saw it would be good to try it out. After flashing the bootloader (otterx-u-boot_v2.05), the kindle kept rebooting showing the logo and the option to 'press power to enter boot menu'. I thought this was normal so I didn't mind it. (During this time, I could still enter recovery.) I proceeded to Step 2 which was flashing TWRP for OtterX (I downloaded zip-otterx-twrp-2.8.2.0-recovery.zip and installed it using the previous TWRP I flashed: openrecovery-twrp-2.2.2.1-blaze.img).

I wasn't able to remember what I did next, but I know I was already having issues. I was getting anxious and sleepy at the same time, I remember exploring the boot menu and foolishly/stupidly tried the EMMC Corruption Fix, without even trying to research about it beforehand, so now I'm stuck at the "fastboot mode" screen (I've attached a photo of the screen). Whenever I turn on the device, it shows the kindle fire logo and the option to enter boot menu. If I let it be for a while, it goes into the "fastboot mode" screen, the same thing happens when I try to choose "continue boot" or "recovery boot". Windows doesn't recognize it anymore whenever I try to connect it too (I'm using Windows 8.1 by the way.)

Please help, I've tried reading about how I could restore the kindle to the state it used to be after I rooted it, but no luck, I couldn't find anyone encountering the same problem as me since I think I'm the only one stupid enough to apply that EMMC corruption fix without knowing or reading what it actually does. and these commands worked fine until I wiped data and cache; now I cannot access Recovery Mode either by pressing mentioned buttons or by adb which shows my device as offline, and my device is still bootlooped. I am afraid that deleting RSA fingerprints in this process caused it, am I right? How can I access Recovery Mode in order to reinstall my system?

Stuck on AP fastboot flash mode (s) topic

One day phone was working fine shut it off and turned back on onky to be stuck on bootloader unlocked screen. I flashed what was the boost mobile fw but no luck afterwards. Now i cant get it to even detect on rsd lite or even on the computer. When i plug it in on da pc it makes the noise like a device has been connected but doesnt show up in device manager or any program , tried several guides here for it with no luck. I try recovery abd every option on da screen no luck. Heres the only screen it boots to , any suggestions ??? 7

Wow. Moto Assist car mode sucks... Better off with tasker? topic

So i thought it'd be pretty cool to have my X start to play music automatically when in my car... It has failed. Sometimes it will work once i start driving, but if I stop anywhere and turn off my car and go again, it won't play unless I manually do it. Ive tried clearing Moto assist data, but no go. Would tasker be better as I'd like music to play every time a BT connection is made to this certain head unit. Thanks

[Q] Can't get to recovery mode on Nexus 4 topic

My Nexus 4 (4.4.4) is stuck in a boot loop. It gets to the boot screen but is stuck in a loop there forever. I have tried accessing recovery mode by holding volume up + down + power, but it just shows the Google logo and then transitions into the boot screen with the four colors moving around. How am I able to get to recovery so I can restore the Factory Image? I have gotten up to step 3 in this tutorial ( ht tp://forums.androidcentral.com/nexus-4-rooting-roms-hacks/223923-guide-nexus-4-factory-image-restore.html ), but I can't progress further since it seems it can't find the device through USB without being in recovery mode.

adb problem recovery mode topic

Hello, i've been trying to install a custom mode but i can't because i only have access to recovery mode now because I made a backup but deleted when i wiped my data :(
So I tried to install my custom rom by using adb but when i type "adb devices" in cmd it just won't list it.
Do you know how to fix this?
Also, in ADB sideload, it shows me "unable to mount /usb-otg" dunno if it is important.

EDIT : Problem solved, i went to pheriphericals and updated my G2 drivers.
