LG G2 brick topic

I have a rooted LG G2 D802 with XPosed Framework installed.
I installed applications update from internal upgrade center app (something like 5MB).
When it rebooted it keeped going to TWRP recovery.

From recovery I tried wiping Dalvik Cache, System and Cache and then rebooting, but again it keeped going to TWRP.

Then I tried tryping the following instructions from the TWRP terminal command:

Code:

dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/fota

and

Code:

dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/misc

I rebooted and now it is stuck on LG logo.
What could I do?

LG G3 Unseen Brick - Can't boot into download mode [VIDEO] topic

youtube[[DOT]]com/watch?v=vweWcReTkv0

Can't post external links yet - please replace [[DOT]] with a .

Where can I find help to this boot loop? Has anyone seen one like this before?
Phone had been previously rooted using purple drake, I then updated to 5.0 and after a few days got stuck into a normal boot loop "LG logo->Restart->LG Logo->Restart".

I then tried to re-flash a stock rom to fix the loop and got this loop when I replugged the USB cable during the installation process.

[Q] Brick Through Fonter topic

Hey Guys

I'm new so I don't know where to put this but I bought a new Tablet from Gigaset recently.
I googled around looking for a root and found one. I rooted it, then installed the Xposed
Installer. This all worked fine, so I downloaded Fonter. I changed the Font a few times and
it worked fine. Then I enabled expert mode in the settings, so that it would not only
replace the normal font, but also italic and bold fonts. Then I restarted it, and now it won't
boot. The startup sound plays, and my custom bootlogo appears, and then it never moves
on. I tried using Funtdo and Oneclick unbrick, but neither worked. I have unlocked the
bootloader, but I haven't installed any custom roms. It runs on Android 4.2.2.

Any Help would be gladly appreciated.:fingers-crossed:
Thanks a lot

[Q] TWRP brick topic

OK, I did search and found nothing. So, I need to ask this somewhere, hopefully this is the place. The similar threads search did not seem to help much.

I have a Tab S 8.4 WiFi. I rooted it and was running Cyanogen 12. I noticed the TWRP 2.8.3.0 update, so I went to install it. TWRP manager kept crashing, so I went to the TWRP site and downloaded the SM-T 700 klimti wifi img file. I used Flashify to flash this, as I have done numerous times. I wish I'd extracted and flashed the zip in TWRP, but I did not. Everything acted normal but when the tab went to boot up it got to the Black screen that announces Samsung Galaxy S, SM-T700, Powered by android. This was it. It flashed this screen constantly every second or so. Non stop. There was nothing any button combination would do. Except it will go into download mode. Nothing else. No hard reset, nothing. Download mode it it. I spent lots of time looking at various tutorials to see what I'd missed, nothing but download mode. So, I had Odin on the computer and the latest firmware from SamMobile, so I figured I could start over and get the tablet functioning. I've used Odin a fair amount before, including the original Galaxy, S III, S4, so I'm not unfamiliar with the process.

So, Odin acts like it is doing its thing, runs through all the steps, says at the end Pass and all threads succeeded, none failed. At the end of the Odin process the tablet acts like it is booting. Up comes the Samsung name with the Bluish sparkly oval along with the standard Samsung tones we hear heading into the boot. That is as far as it goes. The blue and pink colors fade out and I am left with a black screen with SAMSUNG in the middle. Again, no button combination except download mode works at all. It just stays there. Pass showing proudly on the Odin screen. I downloaded and tried flashing all of the various firmwares, same result. I even let the battery drain to zero hoping that would shut it off. It seemed to, but the results were the same, only the download mode combination will do anything.

There is likely user error here (and realize I might kick myself in the end...Oh wait, I already have), but I've run in circles enough to realize I'm probably doing the same sequence with the same error and I not able to see what it is.

Does anyone have any idea what is wrong or how to fix this? I hope it is fixable. I had hope since download and Odin at least go through the motions. I would greatly appreciate any advice, suggestions, or help. Thanks in advance.

[Q] Note 3 [SM-N900P] special brick. Dire need of assistance. topic

Hello, I know for a fact that there are other "help me! I bricked my note 3" threads out there, but I have concluded that I find myself in quite a specially convoluted situation.
All the following occurred with me coming from a stock 4.3 rooted rom.
My story begins when I attempted to flash Fre3 4.4.2 ROM using TWRP. The rom included the"beastmode" kernel. Well, after flashing I ended up stuck in the bootloader screen with a "Set warranty bit: kernel" error. Being such a huge noob as I am, I googled for a solution to this, and I ended up with a flashable .zip that was supposed to fix such kernel issue, upon inspection of the zip file I found a clean_efs.sh script. Then again, being such a noob I had no Idea what "efs" meant, and against my better judgement, I had flashed it anyway..

Long story short the previous made me end up with a bootloop, which prompted me to restore my nandroid from my stock 4.3 rom... At first It would give me an error regarding the MD5 checksums, it prompted me to disable md5 verification, which WAS disabled, yet the same error persisted..
As a last resort I tried to use ODIN 3.07 with the stock 4.3 release, it was flashed successfully, but as soon as it got to the "Sprint" bootlogo, it would reboot itself into an infinite loop.. Afterwards I tried to do a data/wipe/factory reset form the stock recovery which was done successfully. Afterwards the phone booted past the sprint logo and all i could see was: The status bar with the signal bars with a red cross, a completely black screen, and a dreaded "Process system is not responding" dialog. Tapping on "wait" or "stop" just closed the dialog and the phone rebooted regardless. :(

I am pretty much stuck at this point... Please I beseech whoever has solved such an issue to help me, I am not really able to afford another note 3, but I can afford to reward anyone that can help me solve this(that desperate I am:fingers-crossed:)...
And to make matters worse, I am getting the galaxy gear for Xmas....go figure..

P.S. I still have a NANDroid of my beloved 4.3 and it does have an EFS backup, I have no way of knowing if it is corrupted or not... Also I'll attach the "clean_efs" zip so you can tell me how a huge noob I am(not really just for reference)...

i317 Bricked Odin Pass but Still Brick topic

Like my title says I have a i317 Note II on AT&T. It was bricked a while back I tried factory reset which sent it into a boot loop until the battery drained now it is just a brick and wont start but past the Samsung logo.

I ran Odin v3.09 with a Pass but the phone is still doing the same thing. Not sure where to go after this. Do I need to run a new bootloader file? Any help would be great. :cowboy:

These are the files I ran with it:
i317.pit
I317-UCUBMK6.tar.md5
