Random black spot in camera topic

So I went to take a picture today and noticed a black mark on my camera (not the actual one bjt when I open it) I looked st the physical camera and its clean no searches marks or dirty. I cleaned it anyway and the mark persisted. I've tried 4 camera apps, 5 backups (Nandroid) and I can't figure out why it's there. It only showed up this morning and I'm out of ideas.

Does anyone else have this issue, or has anyone had this happen to them before?

I'm going to call moto for a RMA later tonight but I wanted to check here first. There's a picture down below of the issue its in the upper left corner. Enjoy the random poorly taken photos of the issue.

Tab pro 8.4 random buzzing noise from speakers topic

Hi, whenever I run a game or unlock the device this static buzzing sound comes out from the speaker, this occurred on two different 8.4s from two different shops. Is there any fix or do I have to just keep playing the lottery with this tablet?

When I connect headphones the sound stops, but then I can't use my speakers at all. I really don't want to have to send this back too Samsung :crying:

random reboots topic

I have tried countless roms from 44s, cm11, slimbean and even the new lollipop builds.
They all have random reboot problems. 44s by far is the worst.

Here is a log cat from mahdi 2.9 fresh install :
http://pastebin.com/aAiGh2An
rebooted an hour later
What do i look for in these logcats to determine the culprit?

LG G3 random reboots 11cand then Back to 10b topic

ok I bought two brand new LG G3's on Verizon both rooted and stock roms.

Wife's run perfect...

Mine has random reboots. I first tried doing a full wipe reset and still did the same thing.

Then I unfroze everything and let it update to 11c to see if an update would help. Nope only got worse almost was unusable because it restarted alot.

So then I flashed it back to 10b and re-rooted and set it back up. All was good for a few days and then back to random reboots.

I hate to do it but I think I may have to call verizon and get it replaced.

Before I do this... Is there anything else I am missing to try???

I know they are just gonna give me a refurbished phone. I thought about just buying another new one...

[Q] Z Ultra won't read sim card, random reboots. HALP! topic

Just received my Z Ultra Today, and had some issues. Firstly, it was randomly powercycling. The 4.4.4 update seems to have fixed the worst of that.
However, the issue remains that the device will not read a sim card. I've tried four different sim cards from four known working devices and two carriers. It just reads, "Invalid Card- Emergency Calls Only".
I've gone through and repaired it several times using the PC Companion and i've tried several resets as well- nothing.
At my wit's end.
HALP!
Edit: Yes, i do have a valid IMEI. Knowing that, should i return the item to the seller?

Random Clock Face! Please... topic

Alright guys, we have so many clock faces to pick from and I have a few favorite ones. The problem is is do not want to keep swapping them, and I alwasy favor one more then the other. We really need a randomizer, which will give the user an ability to set the change interval, from either 1.) every set amount of time, 2.) every time the screen turns on(for ambilent off users).

An advanced feature could be to pick which clock faces to put into the randomizer. Anyways, I am not a developer capable of such a feat, but I would pay more money then most app faces cost right now. I would help fund the development of it, ofcouse giving me the option to beta it ;)

Thanks

[Q] Random restarts topic

Hi i hope this is the right forum for this question.
I get random restarts on most of my phones whenever mobile data is enabled. If i dissable mobile data the phone works fine, the restarts/shutdowns only occur when the phone is moving(maybe whenever its switching data cells)
I used different phones with different android versions but the problem was never fixed.
When i use another SIM-Card in my phone, it seems to work fine. So i ordered a new SIM-Card from my isp but the error was not fixed.
I started logging with logcat and so far two restarts occured, in both cases the log file ended very similar:

[Q] SM-N900 Random Restarting topic

Hi All,
Hope someone can help me, as the title states I have been getting random reboots with my Exynos Version note 3, SM-N900.
I am currently running 4.4.2.
Here are the problems I receive:
  • Constant bootloops. (Can only be solved by doing a battery pull)

  • Randomly cuts off (no shut down animation) (Doesn't always come back by pressing power button)

  • Around the camera area is warm when it cuts off or is bootlooping, but not so hot that it is burning, it has been hotter while gaming.

I have tried everything,
  • Clearing cache.

  • Factory Reset.

  • Safe Mode.

  • Reflashing Rom with Odin.

  • Didn't reinstall any of my apps.

  • Didn't disable any apps.

Please note that I was rooted when this first occurred. I unrooted and reflashed the rom and it has still been occuring.
Also note I got the firmware from www.sammobile.com, and the reboots never occur while the phone is charging.
Can somebody tell me if this is a hardware issue, or just plain software issue.
I have tried just about everything and I can't seem to find a Jelly Bean rom to test the issue.
Should have Bought the Qualcomm Version:rolleyes:
Any feedback will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Random shutdowns; related to Netflix issues on other devices? topic

Hi everyone. My phone a couple months ago would shut down while I was sleeping, and it would be a hard shut down, as the phone would not power back up when my alarm would go off. I would have to pull the battery just to get it to power back on. I tried wiping the phone and same problem. So I had T-Mobile just replace it.

Then last night, I plugged the charger in and went to watch some Netflix and it shut down again. I thought it was the charger, so I left it off the charger and fell asleep to something on Netflix. I got to work this morning and searched around and found some other devices starting with Android 4.3 were having this same problem with Netflix. Searching this subforum, I found only one other thread that seemed related, but they mentioned it shut down on them without Netflix as well... Has anyone else had this issue?

[Q] Random lockscreen pictures topic

Hi! I really ike that the Honor 6 shows random lockscreen pics. However I must have ruined it somehow as I cannot find that option anywhere in the menu. I can only choose to change it every 5 minutes or less frequently. If anyone konws what might caused this change please give me a hint.
