I recently installed Paranoid Android ROM on my LG G2 (VS980). After signing in to google etc. all of my contacts from my old ROM were transferred over smoothly. I had several texting conversations with people from my contacts (and the conversations I had with them are still shown in hangouts complete with their name and number). However, today I opened up my phone and attempted to text someone, when I realized that all of my contacts but about 10 random people were gone. I've restarted my phone, re-synced my Google account, etc. and still nothing. Has anyone else encountered this issue? This is really an awful situation. It will take absolutely ages to re-retrieve the phone numbers of every human being I know if I can't get these back.

[Q] Xperia Z Died Randomly?!? topic
I'll started off by saying that my bootloader is unlocked and I have flashed the Android 5.0 ROM (503b) from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xper...ria-z-t2929369
Sorry if this is a bit long but I thought it'd be best to tell you the steps leading up to the potential death of the phone.
As far as I can tell the issue doesn't stem from a software fault as I've been running the ROM solidly for 2 weeks now with no issues apart from not being able to hear a call when I accept with something plugged in the headphone jack.
I wake the phone and go to unlock it and the touchscreen is unresponsive. I have known it to take a second or two to wake up so I gave it a minute then tried again.
No response. Screen hadn't dimmed either so I suspected it had crashed.
Held the power button and the power off prompt appears along with all my previous actions unfolding beneath it. Just for good measure I decide I'll reboot the phone as I sometimes do when it starts to lag.
Powered off fine. Go to turn it on and nothing happens.
Battery was on about 20% when I turned it off so I plugged it in and tried again.
No LED light when I plug it in, still no response to any button combination. No recognition over USB either.
So I'm going to leave it plugged in overnight as I've seen it recommended by a couple of people before. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen and if you managed to recover the phone?

Kindly assist: Screen keeps randomly turning on amongst a host of other problems topic
Hi,
So yesterday I used my HTC M7 for music at the gym.
Ever since then the phone has been behaving very weirdly.
- The display keeps randomly turning on.
- Car mode randomly turns on.
- Pages on Chrome continuously refresh.
- While charging through my laptop it keeps losing connection.
- While typing the keyboard keeps deactivating and I have to keep touching the text area so I can get the keyboard back up.
- Sometimes the phone just lands on the home screen.
Its all very weird, no I haven't rooted the device, I'm using Android 4.4.3 with HTC Sense 6.
I have factory reset the device and also I kept it in a bowl of rice overnight in case of water having seeped in at the gym.
Any opinions and advice would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

[Q] Phone randomly vibrates topic
Hi!
I have a problem with my phone that it randomly vibrates with no notification what so ever, even after doing a full wipe and flashing new ROM.
Lets start with some info:
GT-i9505
Danvdh Google Play ROM 4.4.4 (Pure nexus version)
GoogyMax3_GE 1.1.6 Kernel
I have Xposed Framwork installed
I have "Show all app that don't respond" in Developer options, still no errors have popped up.
No app which i've seen send vibration without notification when an update occurs.
I've tried to trace the source with logcat but havent really gotten any far.
Using the app aLogcat ROOT i often get the message:
If i have the logging up and running in the app and then press Home button (Which takes me to Apex Launcher) i often get 2 quick vibrations
If i then start aLogcat ROOT again, i sometimes get another vibration followed by either
or
However, it seems most often related to I/DEBUG (26414): Build fingerprint: 'samsung/jgedlteue/jgedlte:4.4.4/KTU84P.S001/140602:user/release-keys
It's kinda getting frustrating and nothing i've Googled have seem to have provided the answer, most answers are something in line of Facebook messenger, repeat notification functions (For example vibration every 5 mins for sms, etc).
It happened more often before i wiped phone, which i then had Danvdh GPE rom, but 4.4.2 version instead, and ktoonez kernel. Apps were mostly same.
Following caused 2 vibrations 2 times:
Does anyone have ANY clue on how to fix this, or what might be causing it.
Anyone have any similar findings?
Thanks in advance
