[Q] Floating menu button on android L? topic

After flashing android L custom rom, I started to notice the virtual floating menu button as in the attached image, is there anyone know why it appeared and how to disable it?

[Q] No fastboot menu on Atrix (when pressing power on and vol down) topic

Hello,

I've searched for an answer but no luck as yet, hence posting.

I am following the instructions to flash CM onto my Atrix using an Xubuntu computer. However, I cannot get into the 'fastboot' menu on the device itself (pressing Power on + Vol down). I have a YouTube video of the problem, but I can't post links to external sites as less than 10 posts.

Incidentally, pressing Power on + Vol up does take me to the correct 'Starting RSD protocol support' menu.

Here's the instructions that I've been following:

Unlocking the Bootloader with sbf_flash (Linux & OS X) You will need fastboot on the computer to unlock the bootloader of the Motorola Atrix 4G. Follow the Android SDK guide, to get fastboot on the computer. Pull the battery and power back on while holding the Volume Down button. Once you see the bootloader screen with some text options, cycle through the options using the Volume Down and select "Fastboot Protocol". Sorry if this has been asked but I Googled and couldn't find much (I suspect because of the keywords- it wants to show me how to change the background or how it's available in white)... but, after the 5.0 update, there is one "annoyance" setting that I'm hoping can be reverted. Everything is now white instead of black (menus, app drawer, etc.). Can this be reverted to the darker theme easily?

T-705 Missing developer menu topic

So i have gone into the about section and tapped the build number many times, had the message saying im a developer etc

There is no menu, or at least i cant see one, I assume it should appear in the general tab under the heading system?

If i press build number again it just tells me No need, developer mode has been enabled.
I have rebooted the tablet
Any suggestions?

[Q] Need help Theming recents menu topic

Hi. I am kind of a noob to cooking custom roms. I have customized the stock rom for my device with launchers and apks but I want to change the recents menu (multitasking menu). How am I supposed to do that?
I tried decompiling systemUI.apk and framework-res.apk but found nothing regarding recents menu.

Simple Two issues here

the first
my tab hardware support 2g only but ....... Setting-->Wireless&Network-->More-->Mobile networks has an option "Preferred network type" which can be changed to 3g , this causes Major system Error. i want to modify this Mobile networks sub menu and hide "Preferred network type" ,,,,,,,,, i tried editing system.apk but i succeeded only in hiding the root menu "Mobile networks" ,, how to remove any item in "Mobile networks" ?? what's apk file that should be edited?

i used to fix this issue in allwinner in bootloader script.bin .... but this tab is quallcomm msm series no script.bin i can't even find ko file of the touch in system partition to replace it with another one ,,, how to fix this issue ??? and where can i find the ko file of the touch in such tablet ?? ...... the driver detected in getevent "FT5XXXX"

how can i access the hidden menu to repair my imei number. my touch screen is not working 1 & 3 on the dialer so i cant use the method of 3845#*801# any other methods??:confused::confused::confused:

[Q] How can the cLK menu be accessed on boot? topic

I have a KitKat ROM installed that stopped booting (I'm stuck on the HTC screen) and I'd like to see if upping the partitions a bit fixes it, but I can't figure out how to access the cLK menu (not the CWM menu). Thanks.

One handed side menu topic

Hello I'm an android newbie awaiting my opo. Before I ordered it I tried a note 4 in shops and the lady there demonstrated a function where I could double tap the bottom right button and it would bring an app tray down the right hand side of the screen for easy one handed operation. I think this is a TW feature but does the cm11s ROM give any kind of function like this? If not what could be done to get something like that? It looked really handy.

Sprint 915P Note Edge--is your System Update menu missing? topic

For Sprint Edge only--please take a look at Settings, scroll down to "About Device". Just above it, is it "Activate this device" or "System update"?

If you see "Activate this device", take a look at the two attached images. According to Sprint, you should have "System update". It is where you perform the PRL and profile updates.

There is a menu item under Settings > About device > System updates, but it's not the same thing.

If your System update is missing: Are you rooted? Have you disabled/frozen any apps? Running Xposed? I'm trying to isolate the problem.
If your System updates is NOT missing--Are you rooted?

BTW, I did a factory reset (I'm using my own rooted/deodexed stock ROM), and the menu is still not there. I allowed Sprint Zone and Sprint ID to install all the junk, still no joy.
