[Q] Tab charges but can't be detected by the computer topic

Hi. I've been trying to connect my Galaxy Tab 2 P3110 to my computer for a few hours now. At first, I though it was a cable problem because it charges but the computer can't detect it (no sound when plugged/unplugged). I've tried it on 3 computers (2 running win7 and the other 1 running on XP) and the problem still persists. I have installed the drivers from Samsung's website and it still won't be detected.

I bought a new cable today and the result is still the same. Is there any way to root/install CWM/flash custom rom without needing to connect it to a computer? If there is then I don't need to fix this problem. However, what do you think is the issue here? Is it a hardware problem?

[Q] Phone not detected on any PC topic

My i747m 's usb port was damaged (not charging). So I soldered a new one. The phone gets detected in download mode, I can flash anything but does not get detected in Windows anymore (it charges however). It doesn't make a sound when connected and nothing shows up in device manager/ usb DevView . I uninstalled drivers, re installed., nothing works. I don't understand what the issue could be since it gets detected in "Download" Mode.

I'm running stock 4.3 TMO ROM. SGH-T889
Kernel 3.0.31-2085660
Build T889UVUCMK7

I attempted to flash a KitKat 4.4.4 ROM (Cyanogen 11) but every time I do, I get "Sim Card Not Detected" and all the APN's are blank. When I try to enter a new APN, it just disappears.

All the IMEI and Device Info go to "Unknown".

I was able to restore the original ROM, and everything was fine. Outside of the SIM/Signal issue, the KitKat ran fine, too.
Do I need to flash a new radio/modem when I go from 4.3 to 4.4?

[Q] SOS !! USB Driver Installed successfully but not DETECTED topic

I'm facing BootLoop issue in my Lenovo S820. To my research it has also been found out that it can regain its normal state if resets to factory setting. But when I tried to do so I could see some Chinese script. Please check the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2576746 as some one already have been facing the same language problem. Since then I have been trying to flash my device using SP Flash Tool. To complete the task successfully I got to follow all the procedures. So I install the USB driver and here starts my problem. After the successful installation of the USB driver to my system (have tried in XP, Win 7 & win 8) my device isn't DETECTING and so flashing cannot be done. Please help.:confused::confused::(:(
