[Q] Can not reset and error "Unrecoverable bootloader error (0x00000000)." topic

Hello everyone,

I have a TF201 whose characteristics are:

- Android cardhu-user bootloader <1.00 e> released by "US_epad-10.4.2.15-20120917" A03

- CyanogenMod Android 4.2.2

- cyanogenmod version 10.1-20140217 - NIGHTLY - tf201

1 - But when I want to reset the tablet by restoring to factory settings , it restarts but nothing happens and after starting it in the same condition as before.

2 - When I want to go into recovery to install another rom, I have :

"Unrecoverable bootloader error (0x00000000)."

so I can not access the recovery or to wipe data

so I can not restore my tablet to factory settings or install a new rom as kitkat .

However, I have access to fastboot but I tried things and I have :"failed invalid argument"

- I kept the files that I made at the time of root :

blob.bin
blob.log
bootloader.ebt
create.bct
pt_patch.log
pt_restore.log
recovery.bct

is it that I can do something with fastboot or a version nvflash or other software ?

Is it possible to install a rom android directly without going through the recovery ?

thank you for your help.

[Q] BootLoader Freezes and TWRP Password? topic

Hello all I've been researching and trying all the methods but cant seem to get this right.

I was trying to install the ZOMBI-X rom and Since I havn't used the prime in a long time i decided to start from the beginning, but when i tried to put the 2.6 TWRP on i think it was for the incorrect bootloader so its asking for a password and cant mount anything. on top of that my bootloader freezes whenever i do anything through fastboot. But I can boot into the rom if i do "adb reboot-bootloader" and then chose coldboot into android.

what can i do about this to fix the issues??? any help would be great thank you and let me know if i need any more info im on Androwook 2.31 right now and im on the A4 boot loader with no USB option if that helps

[Q] XZU Bootlooping NO Recovery LOCKED Bootloader topic

Hey guys,

I just experimented with some sound libraries and so on...
now my device is bricked.
I don't get into recovery (pink led, not turning on), flashtool does not allow me to reflash the stock-rom, and fastboot-flashing also doesn't work, because my bootloader is locked.
Is there any possibility to unlock the bootloader from outside, without having the stock-rom running?
Or any other possibility to get this thing working again?
Would be really happy, if someone has an idea :)

Thanks :D

Verizon Moto G bootloader unlock exploit topic

I haven't posted on XDA for a while, but recently my friend purchased a Verizon Motorola G for himself and couldn't find a way to unlock the bootloader.

Being *that* kind of friend and all, I did a bit of research and discovered this:
http://blog.azimuthsecurity.com/2013...ootloader.html

I was curious if this exploit was still viable, so I quickly captured the latest OTA update of the Verizon Moto G firmware and started IDA...
Amazingly, although the exploitation method would have to be a little different due to changes in the TrustZone kernel,
the original arbitrary memory writing vulnerability still existed and could be exploited.

Code:

int __fastcall smc_vector(int code, int arg1, int arg2, int arg3, int alwaysZero)
{
    .........
    do
    {
      *(_DWORD *)(_R6 + 4 * v40) = dword_FC492C8[v40];
      ++v40;
    }
    while ( v40 < 4 );
    .........
}

The only downside is that to perform said exploit, the smc call would have to execute in kernel context (i.e. kernel space).
Has anyone capitalized on said vulnerability yet and built a bootloader unlocker using this method, or do I have to get to work
and release my own ""exploit"" for this bug?

Or is there some other technical problem hindering the feasibility of all of this?

[Q] can't unlock bootloader topic

I must start by saying that I'm sorry if this has already been discussed. I've been trying to unlock bootloader on m8 running 3.30 (latest OTA) hbooot 3.19 via HTCDev and when trying to flash unlock code bin. I get:
C:\Android>fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin
target reported max download size of 1826414592 bytes
sending 'unlocktoken' (0 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.125s]
writing 'unlocktoken'...
FAILED (remote: unlock token check failed)
finished. total time: 0.141s

I've copy and pasted and written out the commands: fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin

I've searched several time and multiple websites but haven't found my problem yet any help would be greatly appreciated.

[Q] A few questions (mainly bootloader) topic

Hey there everyone!
Let me apologize in advance if these questions have been answered before but I'm so confused right now and I don't want to brick my new Xperia Play.
I had one a year ago but my little cousin trashed it. I finally got a new one today and want to venture into the custom rom world.
The one I bought is an R800a from ebay.
I used to have an R800i, which I just unlocked with the original sony website.
Now a few things that confuse me:

1.
I want to unlock the bootloader, so I looked for the Rooting Status in the *#*#7378423#*#* but noticed that it was completely missing. Is this normal? Or does this mean that my bootloader is already unlocked?
If it's of importance, I can use my German T-Mobile Sim card without a problem.
Is there a way to check if my bootloader has been unlocked already?

2.
I've read about the test point method of unlocking the bootloader. Does this work on devices where the menu point Rooting Status is completely missing?

3.
I want to use it for gaming, are there any recommendations you can make for custom roms for a 800a?
I'm leaning towards the true ancestors 4.0.4.

Thanks in advance for your help! I'll try to provide any info you need.

[Q] Update bootloader / modem not working topic

Hi all,

I'm currently running Temasek's CM12 by Kornfed, great rom, but I wanted to update my bootloader and modem to the latest version BNL7, as I'm currently still on ANG2.
I can't however seem to flash the damn thing, tried Odin and says the flash is ok, but i'm still on my old bootloader and modem. With Mobile Odin i get an error "Memory Protection In Place" so i guess i'm missing something.

Any1 else having or had this problem?

How do I install 5.0.1 on Xperia c1905 UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER topic

Hi! i have some questions.

Bootloader Version-List topic

Hi there.

For the start - the reason i stubled over that problem is, i want to install the DN4-Rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2504016)
My Bootloader ist "N7100XXUFND3"
You need having at least Samsung Bootloader "4.3".
Recommended is "MJ5"
Other bootloaders i heard of are "MI6" and another with "Letter/Letter/4" (don't remember which Letters that was)

So, now i have a huge Problem here. Normaly Versions go up 2.5, 2.9, 3.1, 3.2, 3.7, 4.0, 5.1, etc...
Here we have a completely different setup. is 4.3 higher than MI6 ? is MJ5 Higher than 4.4 ? is ND3 higher than 4.3 ??? i dont get it.
My Bootloader (as already mentioned) is N7100XXUFND3" - how do i find out if this is - as requested for the DN4-Rom - "Above 4.3" ?
Is there a List of the Bootloader-Evolution somewhere so i can read what is actually "above 4.3" ?

Since my Bootloader ends with ND3 - i have to assume that iam somewhere Below 4. Or are the Bootloaders beginning wiht "Letter/Letter" Higher than 4.4 and are set up in a new way after that Version ?

A Version-List of Bootloaders in the Correct Order would be very helpfull.

Thanks
Greets
