[Q] Moving from HTC Desire to S5 Mini, how to keep app data? topic

Hello,

I'm the new owner of a S5 Mini (G800F) with the latest OTA update and moving from an HTC Desire under rooted 2.3.3 is quite impressive.
But now, I'd like to move my data from the old phone to the new one. I have read around to find out how to do this and came up with two solutions:

1. Root the S5 Mini and use Titanium Backup to selectively restore what I need
2. Use Helium Backup to get data from the Desire and then selectively restore what I need on the S5 Mini

My problem is that rooting the S5 Mini will trigger the Knox counter and thus void its warranty. I'd like to avoid that at least for a while and so it seems that option 1 is not possible for me.
I went looking for another solution and saw that Helium backup was highly recommended. Unfortunately, the Android App is not available for the Desire under 2.3.3 and so this seems like a dead end as well.
Now, would it be possible to get Helium to use data created by Titanium backup? Or would it be possible to extract the data from the Desire in a way that Helium would be able to use?

Any help would be much welcome.

Today I tried to intall Clockworkmod on my HTC.
After intalling, my HTC was stuck and i couldnt do anything.
I tried going into the Recovery-Mode but it didnt work.
Maybe it is hard bricked.

[Q] International Sim Unlock HTC Desire 510 topic

Hi
I have a HTC Desire 510 from the Sprint network. I have already unlocked the bootloader and rooted my phone. I've been trying a lot to unlock it to work with an international carrier but to no avail. Could any of you please help?
I've tried the persist.radio.simlock.enable trick but it didn't work. Here's the getprop from my phone.
Also, it doesn't ask for an unlock code. Popping in a different sim gives me an invalid sim error and no place to enter any code.
Any help would be appreciated. :)

[Q] HTC DESIRE 310 installing apps to sd card topic

Sorry for making a topic so similar to other posts but I couldn't manage to find a serious answer about this problem.
First off,I rooted it with root genius.Then I divided my 16 gb sd card into 2 partitions of about 7,5 gb each.The problem is that android 4.2.2 doesn't support any method of moving apps to sd with the given by android option where many other android phones have.I wrote to htc support asking about this but they blamed google and a solution wasn't found.I am looking for a way to install an *.apk file from my sd card directly to my sd card because my internal storage is under 1,5 gb which for instance restricts me from installing hearthstone which is an around 1,7 gb game.Every suggestion helps.:)

HTC desire 816 NFC not functional after RUU topic

My desire 816 was acting up after I restored a backup (screen wouldn't turn on during media playback, systemui full crash) so I relocked and ran an RUU back to full stock but now NFC isn't functional, if I try to turn it on the quick setting toggle just blinks and the nfc button looks inactive on the more options page. Any idea why this is happening? Virgin mobile desire 816 a5_chl

[Q] Custom Recovery Wont Install Desire 510 topic

Hello people!
I am fairly new at rooting and would like if someone can help me with my problem. I've been using these guide to root my Desire 510:

I have Desire 820u CHinese version and it has only English and Chinese languages. No Goggle play and even does not allow to install Google play. Blocks it. I would like to install Google play. Is there any international ROM ?
