[Q] Unsure about hardware files topic

I am building AOSP rom on my Galaxy s5.
When I am looking at the device tree components I notice that the repo

. However, the repo "android_device_samsung_hardware" is only Exynos and my s5 is Snapdragon.
Would it be save to use the hardware repo? 'cause the "BoardConfigCommon.mk"only asks for this:

so I don't see anything about the Exynos.
I don't want to hardbrick my phone, so please help me :*
